Dictionary Project 2011

On Tuesday, November 8, 2011, Sonia Burgos Crannage presented the
North Rockland School District with a gift of Dictionaries from the
Rotary Club to ALL the 5th graders of the district. She gave the board
information concerning Rotary International and informed them that the
Rotary Club of North Rockland was part of a global association made up
of members who volunteer their time and talents to serve their
community. She had the opportunity to share with the board some of the
benefits derived from having a dictionary.
Members of the club will deliver the dictionaries on the following dates: Willow Grove Middle on November 15th; James A. Farley and St. Gregory on November 17th; St. Peter's on November 21st and Haverstraw Middle School on December 6th.
This is an early holiday present to the children of North Rockland!
